ST-700 Transfer System – The flexible and affordable standard system from Sigma
When efficiency, precision, and reliability are required, Sigma’s ST-700 transfer system is the right choice. It is our standard series and also the most affordable system in the Sigma portfolio—ideal for a wide range of automation tasks in the assembly, testing, and transport of workpieces.
Compact, robust, and universally applicable
With a system width of 160 mm and a standard height of 850 mm, the ST-700 offers the perfect balance between stability and flexibility. Of course, the system is available in any desired height (in mm increments) – precisely tailored to your production environment.
The standard speed is 170 mm/s, but can be individually adjusted between 16 mm/s and 350 mm/s as required. This allows the transfer system to be optimally adapted to your process speed.
High precision and resilience
Despite its compact design, the ST-700 can carry a total weight of up to 8 kg per workpiece carrier. The workpiece carrier is 150 mm wide as standard, and the length is manufactured according to customer requirements. With a centering accuracy of ±0.06 mm or optionally ±0.02 mm, the system guarantees maximum repeatability and positioning precision
Durable, low-maintenance, and adaptable
The ST-700 is designed for minimal maintenance, making it ideal for continuous operation in demanding environments. On request, the transfer system can be made ESD-compatible.
The system operates reliably in a temperature range from –20°C to +90°C and complies with protection class IP54, which means it is protected against dust and splash water. For applications involving dirt or splashing water, we recommend using our foreign object remover.
Efficient even over long distances
Thanks to its robust construction and sophisticated drive technology, the ST-700 achieves a maximum chain length of up to 60 meters per drive. This allows even larger production lines to be implemented efficiently and in a space-saving manner.
